Johnette is one of the featured authors at the Louisiana Book Festival with her new book Petit Pierre and His Wild Adventure, and will be giving an Author Talk and book reading and singing in the Children’s Author Tent 2 from 11:30-12:00, a book signing in the Cavalier Book Tent from 12:15-1:00, and a second signing in the Pelican Publishing booth in Exhibitors Tent from 2:00-3:00. This is the literary highlight of the year, so you won’t want to miss it!
Johnette will be giving a WordShop for adults at the State Library of Louisiana in conjunction with the Louisiana Book Festival. The workshop, Right for Children? The Business of Writing Picture and Board Books, is for budding writers who want to take their children’s book idea to the published book. Tips for sustaining a long career as an author are shared.
