Kids Tent performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
Festival season is in full bloom in New Orleans. I will be performing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in the Kids Tent on April 28, 2018 at 3:05 at the New Orleans Fairgrounds. Scott will be joining me, and we will be debuting some songs from our upcoming album for families entitled Swamp Romp. Swamp Romp, A Louisiana Dance Party for Children
Slated for a summer 2018 release, Swamp Romp is my eleventh album, in celebration of my 30-year anniversary of performing music for children. From Dixieland jazz to Cajun music, this album is a Louisiana dance party for families that features many talented friends such as members of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the Rebirth Brass Band, and the Dukes of Dixieland, as well as James Singleton, Wilson Savoy, Washboard Chaz Leary, Matt Perrine, Lee Alen Zeno, The McCrary Sisters, C. R. Gruver, and Jake Eckert. Also featured are the funky sounds of Grammy nominees Roddie Romero and Doug Belote, and duets with Grammy winners Irma Thomas and Joel Savoy.

I am happy to announce that I have just signed my third book contract with Scott Campbell of River Road Press for Who Got the Baby in the King Cake?
